      Enlarged Heart

I've recently just come off a mild cruise of... I was jamming 250mg of Test E per week...

5 weeks ago I kicked up the dosages to...

      400mg Per Week Test E Week 1 - 10
      30mg ED Dbol Week 1 - 5

Yesterday afternoon I got home from work and took a short nap only to wake up with pulsating pain in the left had side of my chest...

It was(still is) bad, real bad. Had trouble breathing and even lifting my left arm to shift gears in my was painful.

So this morning I called in sick and went to the hospital...

Had a few small tests done to check for blood clots which turned up negative, and then my chest x-ray revealed that I had an enlarged heart.

I have a Stress Echocardiogram booked for the 31st of this month and appointment with an Endocrinologist on the 30th.

The doc I went to see mentioned that my heart enlargement is possibly due to a fluid build up on the 2 outer layers of tissue surrounding my heart

      REFERENCE:

      • Fluid around your heart (pericardial effusion). Accumulation of fluid in the sac (pericardium) that contains your heart may cause your heart to appear enlarged on a chest X-ray.

So now I'm left with nothing really to go on until the 30th. Unsure whether or not to cut gear out all together or to continue with 250mg per week.
I could start a PCT and throw some HCG into the mix to get recovery kicking over faster but I'm wary of using Tamoxifen and Clomiphene with a possible heart
      condition hanging in the clouds.

Never had any issues banging back Test at higher dosages (banged 600mg/week in the past with no dramas) and this issues has only come to light with the usage of Dbol, 3 days after I finished so I'm thinking its come as a result linked to the Dbol.

Is anyone able to shed some light on this?

Main thing I would like to know is if it is a build up of fluid in the outer layers of my heart, will it subside?

Anyone else gone through anything of this nature?

      Bro this sounds very serious.

Honestly in your position Id probs tell the doc what you've been doing.

You're question unless we have a Cardiologist willing to chime in really needs to be answered by a medical professional.

      Take care bro get well.

I don't think anyone wants to comment about something Dr believed to be true .
I can tell you if you were in danger then I doubt they would wait until end of month .
My heart is enlarged from steroid use but that is a measurement estimation of average hearts .
I can't even tell you all the different tests I had .
Ultra-sound , echo something something and Doppler to check for plaque in arteries .
Heart being a muscle and believed to increase increase with steroid use .
What are your other vitals ?
High blood pressure causes water retention from stress on Kidneys .
      Sodium causes water retention .
Estrogen causes people to carry extra water .
I would donate blood if you haven't recently .
Steriods increase blood volume as average joe can't inflate large muscles with average volume .
You ever see a semi truck fill there tires with air with a quarter air pump on the side of a gas station ?
If anything Dbol is the culprit here IMO
Healthy vegetables and fruits that stain cloths are your healthier choices .
Almonds , walnuts and peanuts all unsalted
I would take your fish oil and maybe check out CoQ10 .
Get the cardio going as this helps the heart .
      Good luck friend

@ Dundee: Told the docs everything, dosages, compounds, pinning schedule, training regime, everything.
@ Dont wana be old : Yeah I do believe it was the dbol too. Appointments are booked so now its just a waiting game, I'm gonna go see a GP tomorrow and have the rest of the week off work.

I never usually exceed dosages to extremes and tend to favor a gradual gain over time as opposed to massive doses and side effects to go hand in hand.

I understand that no one really wants to throw in their 2 cents on this post because it is serious shit that I'm faced with... but when I have a 20 day wait to see
a specialist I tend to stress a bit.

This is my way of venting stress really. I had anticipated a lot of factors but never a heart issue like this.

Cheers for the kind words lads.

For what's it's worth had similar experience. Went to doctor about flu told here a had a little pain in chest area. She put me on ecg. Can up irregular , sent for urgent bloods , rang me said go straight to hospital....started shitting myself. They ran ecg again and more bloods and chest xray.Bloods were good this time but he mentioned my heart was large but didn't seem to concerned and was booked to see cardiologist. Did stress test there and found slightly irregular pulse of one of the chambers and then sent for ct scan where they put stuff into your blood to check for clots. Came back super all clear, not any signs of plague at all. Take from that what you will. Try not stress and just do all the tests. Like someone said above, if they aren't rushing test probably just ruling things out and hopefully it will be nothing like me.

Cant add much to the topic but am really curious to see what the end result is going to be. So keep us updated mate and as others have said if it was something serious drs would be all over it and you would have been hospitalised. I know is its easily said to relax when ou are not in the same position but stress will only do more harm then good. Do some meditation as its know to help relax in big way.

@Syrax : that must have been a relief, I feel it's just the uncertainty of not knowing right away and having to wait playing on my mind atm, hopefully I'll be in the clear. If you dont mind me asking, what compounds were you using at the time?

@wood23 : My ECG was normal then after my X-ray it came up irregular, which was weird.

@Quadzilla: I'll keep this thread updated mate. I'll also post up results from scans, log treatment, prescribed medication as I go along.

      Thank you for the input.

I went through similar situation I had tachycardia my heart was racing had heart beat 179, spent a couple of days in hospital. I have enlarged heart but I think its quite common among athletes and aas users. Had a break from using the gear but now I returned to 'normal'. Seems to be okay.

I was using high dose tren ace and a low dose of test at the time. With a little bit of slin. I was getting crazy pains in my chest and after numerous tests at the hospital they diagnosed me with pericarditis. I was fine and back to normal with in 5 days. I ceases compounds and just stayed on a low dose of test for a month until things went back to normal. The symptom was not gear related but due to me having a flu on the chest which turned into pneumonia. Had I have treated the flu it would not of happened in the first place.
