      Compression clothing anyone?

I was reading about how compression clothing helps with performance and recovery....does anyone find this to be true?

I play basketball. Compression pants/shorts are amazing. I dont like tanks or shirts. But the pants are a must.

I wear under armour 3/4. Have also worn nike but the quality is crap in comparison

I don’t really play any fast paced sports anymore, and I’m still relatively young. I’ve got some compression gear, I used to wear it all the time for squats and such. I quit wearing it just out of happenstance and really never felt any difference at all. I’ve got some Enerskin knee sleeves that are tight compression from shin to mid thigh that I ski in, and they’re great for helping with the lactic acid while skiing hard. So I guess I’m a mixed review. Lol. I have heard people talk about wearing compression after extensive exercise to increase circulation for recovery but never tried it myself to know if it works. Not a big fan of sitting around the house with my “boys” all jammed up. Lol.

The enerskin brand is expensive, but worth every dime when you’re not smoked halfway through a ski day, especially if you’re skiing out west or on a big trip.

they state that compression clothing helps with blood circulation and recovery, but i think its only for aesthetics purposes only, doesnt do shit for recovery imo, I think wearing compression pants by itself alo looks weird, need to wear shorts over it
