why is it shocking to have High Blood pressure?

So isn't it normal for blood pressure to be abnormal if your literally a super human on gear?? I mean Why should you expect any organ to function in the normal range? I mean isn't the whole reason we all are on gear in the first place is to not be AVERAGE. I personally think it is complete bullshit if any pro body builder or any human for that matter that is overly muscular beyond their natural capabilities to have normal blood pressure, liver enzymes ect..! So in short the point i'm trying to make is, just because your BP or Liver enzymes are off don't assume your going to just drop dead and need to quit gear! I think people in our community need to rethink what "normal" means to us (the enhanced) on the dark side... just rambling guys but drop a comment. What are your thoughts?

Very interesting. And I really enjoy the idea of being content with the side effects of serious and responsible AAS use. We do this so that we are NOT normal, and that’s a great thing. So we should expect and be calm about the NOT normal side-effects and be okay with them. There’s a mature practicality to this that is very helpful. I think many men do quietly panic - thinking they will have a heart attack or stroke by using a certain compound. This, unfortunately, is not only a result of idiotic media coverage and desperate political bullshit, but also a result of poor clinical care by uninformed doctors who judge us and refuse to treat us, setting up a culture of secrecy and misinformation.

Sometimes, however, especially when it comes to heath outcomes - such as blood pressure, liver function, etc - finding ways on our own to achieve an “average” result will actually help us continue to be NOT average in terms of size, strength, and discipline. If we think it through, we actually have the best of both worlds: we can experience AAS, and we can also practically, if not clinically, mitigate the side effects. This is a benefit that was not around 25 years ago. Just as we can order Tren, we can also order Lipitor or a diuretic or even an anti-anxiety medication. That’s remarkable, and it makes us damn lucky. We should take advantage of these opportunities.

For example: I take lots of Tren. It’s a fact, and I know many people who are proud not only of their physique as a result of Tren, but also of their ability to handle the side-effects. For me, Tren equals crazy high blood pressure. I’m okay with that, but I’m not okay with just letting it be in order to be NOT normal. Don’t get me wrong: I agree with you, and I love being NOT normal: bigger, harder, more aggressive. But to continue to achieve that, I also need to find a side-effect protocol, such as checking my BP twice weekly and taking BP medication or lipid management meds. This helps me achieve my long-term goal of massive size and strength. I never want to be average. But when being average - meaning a healthy lipid or pulmonary profile - helps me be NOT average - well, I’m all for that.

Being “not normal” also means being smarter, more resourceful, and more disciplined than everyone else. So while most of us surely aren’t going to drop-dead, most of us should consider ancillaries such as those mentioned above to keep our liver, our heart, our kidneys, and our skin “normal.” The dark side is definitely where I want to live, but I lighten it up a little with things that advance my agenda.

As I’ve said before: it’s an art and a science using AAS and focusing on physique. But I don’t want any of us to become complacent about our health just because we don’t want to be normal or average. I’m really glad to see your post - because most men don’t talk about it. Thanks for your honesty and knowledge.

I agree with everything you stated especially being smarter, more resourceful, and more disciplined when it come to handling the side effects of being literally super humans. For everyone reading this thread assuming I have a death wish or that I am just reckless, that is far from the case. The point I was trying to make was a jacked up Greek God at 240 plus pounds [for example] should't be comparing his BP, Liver enzymes etc.. (Blood Work) To a "normal" weight to height ratio that of a man half his size naturally, and shouldn't expect to, but rather limit the side effects and get as close to "normal range" as possible.. Great stuff jackofspades!

My view is if we are going to self administer supplements that make us bigger, strong, faster than the average human then we need to be responsible and get a good yearly physical done with our doctor if you we don't have one we need to get one.
We also need to do blood work Pre Cycle, Mid Cycle, and after the Cycle is over. If we're going to make the decision to live this lifestyle then we need to do everything we can to control or eliminate the side effects of the supplements that we administer.

I don't know how many guys I know that run stuff and have not had a physical in 20 yrs or more couldn't tell you what their BP is or Cholesterol numbers or anything.

Get this one says man idk about getting my drawn does it hurt lol I'm like dude your worried that getting blood drawn is going to hurt lol you big puss wa wa ....

It's crazy guys just take care of ourselves we owe it to our families, our children, ...

Its too easy to have normal lipids, that's why. Yes we take gear that causes these numbers to go up but they don't have to. High BP biggest issues other than increase heart attack is kidney failure. Its all fun and games before you go on dialysis.

I'm an over 30 year gear user. I had high BP as a kid. I'm near stage 3 kidney failure thanks to abusing Advil most of my life and not realizing the damage. My lipids other than that are perfect, but I take precautions and get my blood work done every 90 days. Even on tren, I can post normal numbers.
