Recommendations for HDL
What would you recommend for low HDL, high triglycerides? A1C is good and so is LDL, AST/ALT are in good range.
Thanks.

In my limited knowledge, their arent many things to do to raise HDL. Have to bring your test down to a tru TRT dose. And get that cardio going. Jokr mentioned a couple things but I haven't tried them yet. Has to do with organ meats and desiccated liver.

Flax seed is great for increasing HDL. My doctor told me about it years ago and it works like a charm. You want to use the ground flax seed (not whole). I take in a couple of tablespoons a day. I cook with it, put it in smoothies and sprinkle on salads. It is virtually tasteless. I've used to flax seed oil in the past, also with good results.

besides lipitor, I would add healthy fats. (chia seed, fish oil, ground flax) I just stick to chia seed morning and night with fish oil.

I have the issues hemocrit, LDL, HDL. All the labs that are monitored on TRT blood work. Every I go in for labs. I've taken a baby aspirin night before and couple days prior eat sauerkraut and cucumbers with vinegar, and or Spinach with vinegar. The Spinach seems to help to as the high levels of Vitamin K. I haven't had any problems with those on blood work. I'm sure my levels go back to the high or low.
