      no more plain tilapia!!!

I'm not sure how many people like or have heard of ceviche, but if you're tired of plain old tilapia.....try this out! You don't physically cook the fish. The acidity of the lemons actually denatures the protein and "cooks" it for you!!

      Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs tilapia, cut into thin slices/cubes
      1 red onion, diced
      1 can diced green chilies
      Juice from 5 lemons
      2 garlic cloves, diced/smashed
      Salt, to taste
      cilantro as desired
1 avocado, sliced/cubed ***the next day****
      salsa or picante sauce
      Louisiana hot sauce

      How to make it

•Wash fish and place in a bowl.
•Mix the onion, chilies, cilantro, garlic, hot sauce, salsa, lemon juice with the fish....not the avocado!!.
•Let all of the shit sit in the fridge OVER NIGHT
      • Dice up your avocado and add it to the mixture the day you intend on eating it
      .

I love ceviche but never tried to make it at home! Yum.

Can make it with lots of other kinds of fish too...or lime juice instead of lemon.
