      Cottage Cheese Smoothie

I know this has probably already been done 100,000 times, but.....

      Cottage Cheese Smoothie

      In a blender combine:

1/2 cup of cottage cheese (low or nonfat)
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup of milk (low or nonfat)
1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
1 packet of Splenda or sweetner of choice

For those that use flax oil, you can add a tablespoon to this and it doesn't really change the taste. Blend for 1 to minutes, serve and enjoy!

That's a new one. Would never think to use cottage cheese. Just got a blender gonna have to give it a try.

It's one of my choices for shakes. More protein & less carbs than greek yogurt. I find that when I use it, it cuts the sweetness of the protein powder. So, depending on the powder you use, you may want to add some Stevia. I usually add a bit.

2 scoops Vanilla whey + cottage cheese + water to taste = kind of a cheesecakey flavor.
