Thread: Banana Ice Cream

This one is simple.

What you need: 2-4 ripe bananas, protein powder

What to do: Peel the bananas and chop into slices (like you're making a bunch of circular banana chips). If you wish, chop up the banana slices even further.

After all chopped up, put them on a plate on in a bowl in the freezer for a couple hours - uncovered. Make sure they are frozen solid before removing.

Once frozen, take out of freezer and put in a metal mixing bowl. Use a hand blender. Get it all blended up until it's like ice cream.

At this point take the blender attachment off and put on the whisk attachment.

If you have a favorite protein powder (like chocolate) throw some in. Mix it up with the whisk attachment until it's all creamy like chocolate soft serve ice cream. It's also good plain...

NOTE: You may be tempted to add milk. DO NOT ADD MILK! Unless you want a banana soup...
Also, if you used 2 bananas you might only want 1 scoop (16 grams of powder). If 4 bananas I use 2 scoops (32 grams of powder). Scoop sizes vary between protein manufacturers, so just pay attention to the grams of powder you're actually adding.
