Protein brownies, anyone?! #browniegainz!!
Made these a few times. The recipe was originated by this chick: images.jpg. She's a USAPL powerlifter & figure competitor. This chick's squat & DL make me question my own manhood @ times...not to mention she's friggin' cute!

Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 100 g pumpkin puree
- 100 g fat free cream cheese
- 2 whole eggs
- 125 g egg whites
- 40 g oat flour (or 40 g oats, blended into flour)
- 15 g honey
- 25 g coconut flour
- 60 ml sugar free syrup, I used Walden Farms
- 14 g unsweetened baker's chocolate, melted and cooled
- 30 g dark cocoa powder
- 5 g salt
- Sweetener to taste
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 25 g Lily's stevia-sweetened chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Spray a large glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients through sweetener. Blend until fully combined.
- Add baking soda, baking powder and almond extract. Pulse until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes.

When I made mine, I added a couple scoops of Chocolate whey protein. I plugged the recipe into MFP & I think it bumped the protein content by ~5g per brownie. Because of the moisture content, you need to refrigerate them. They're best when warm. I nuke them for ~30sec when I want to eat one. Top them w/ some of that Halo Top Ice cream & you feel like you're actually eating dessert!
