When in doubt I like to season my food with taco or chili packets , cheap and easy. Typically I'll just grill my chicken in coconut oil throw some mustard on and eat.

I'd be curious also for you guys that use flavor god and other seasonings how they are

I trim the fat then just microwave them and drain any liquid. Boring but as clean as I can go

I don't have a traeger, but when I smoke chicken, I usually use apple wood. I just make a quick rub with garlic, chiles and whatevers around and then go to town.

I have the Pit Boss smoker and use their pellets, but I'm sure they would work in a Traeger smoker too. I really like combining their competition blend pellets with their Apple pellets. I normally do 2/3 Comp and 1/3 Apple. Gives a good smoke, with a little sweet to anything poultry or fish.

Hawaiian Mesquite (Hiawe) is the best IMO!

In the next thread down I have a marinade recipe that is great for chicken. When I cook mine it's on a charcoal grill then I add apple wood and pecan wood chips for flavor.
