      Salmon Patty

Anyone ever try a salmon patty? This is the recipe I got from a John Meadows YouTube video.
1 can of Salmon (I use 2 cans from Sam’s club they are about the size of a can of tuna)
      1 egg
      1/2 cup breadcrumbs

roll together and make 2 nice sized patty’s fry in pan until brown and crispy on both sides.

im telling you these are to die for. They are really good. Doesn’t seem like much but I really really enjoy them. Throw a little ketchup and horseradish on top. Damn good shit. Try it if you doubt me. You will be surprised.

the cheap canned salmon you buy does have some bones in it. Not bad. Add a little crunch to the patty. But the ones from Sam’s club are really clean. Just salmon meat, no skin or bones. I prefer them.

Easy recipe man. I do pretty much the same thing but bake mine and use Italian bread crumbs. Got two cans to make this week Salmon Patty

425 for 15-20 min flipping half way

Kitchen won’t smell as bad and less mess using aluminum foil

I love salmon patties: I add an egg white or two (no yolks needed unless keto) chopped fresh parsley/scallions or chives) w: (you can cut in half for yourself- I eat it all !! Especially if not using bun and bib lettuce wrapped!!

1.5 lbs pounds skinless, boneless salmon(fresh or canned red salmon) I use Alaskan wild from Costco/Sam’s
      2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 shallots, peeled and cut into chunks
½ cup coarse bread crumbs or GLUTEN FREE PANKO BY KIKKOMANSalmon Patty or 4CSalmon Patty
      1 tablespoon capers, drained
      Salt and black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
      Lemon wedges
      Tabasco sauce

      Fucking Perfect Salmon Patty!
Happy Campers Buns or Potato Buns if gluten free - GF Certified- if not - BRIOCHE BALLIN!
Homemade for me but, not ideal for most. Lol

The best! I zest a bit of the lemon inside mixture. Let salmon mixture marry in the fridge for 20-60min. Then grill on coals -gas-or grill pan. A touch of cayenne or red/black/white pepper{blackening seasoning for hot lovers Salmon Patty!!
      Just in case:

Cut the salmon into large chunks, and put about a quarter of it into the container of a food processor, along with the mustard. Turn the machine on, and let it run — stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary — until the mixture becomes pasty.
Add the shallots and the remaining salmon, and pulse the machine on and off until the fish is chopped and well combined with the puree. No piece should be larger than a 1/4 inch or so; be careful not make the mixture too fine.
Scrape the mixture into a bowl, and by hand, stir in the bread crumbs, capers and some salt and pepper. Shape into four burgers. (You can cover and refrigerate the burgers for a few hours at this point.)
Place the butter or oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet, and turn the heat to medium-high. When the butter foam subsides or the oil is hot, cook the burgers for 2 to 3 minutes a side, turning once. Alternatively, you can grill them: Let them firm up on the first side, grilling about 4 minutes, before turning over and finishing for just another minute or two. To check for doneness, make a small cut and peek inside. Be careful not to overcook. Serve on a bed of greens or on buns or by themselves, with lemon wedges and Tabasco or any dressing you like.

Solid subject. I dig em quite a bit. I use crushed up nuts of any kind instead of crumbs. I buy the canned with the bones in it just pick it out. Can't go wrong salmon patties, a baked potato and green beans

Honestly an air fryer is a must have. I use it daily. I’m cutting now. So I throw a whole chicken in there and just pick the meat off. Got pretty much a whole days protein right there. I like the mix of white and dark meat because I eat it cold and it’s not so dry. I can’t reheat chicken at all. I won’t eat it. So like James Hollingshead says if you can’t eat your meat cold you’re a pussy. That’s enough motivation I need. Say that to myself every time I eat.
