I'm curious if these peptides help heal the issue that requires surgery. I just came from the neurosurgeon today and he told me that I would require a 3 level fusion since I've had 3 surgeries already. He told me to do what I can to stall because the fusion will put huge stress on the first unfused disc and will surely destroy it within 8-10 years and then it would require a full lumbar fusion. This path will basically kill any chance of continuing the bodybuilding lifestyle. I wonder if the anti-inflammatory properties of PAL-GHK and TB500 would offer some pain relief for the bulging disc pressure. I suppose I would be the perfect candidate to find out.

I personally swear by PEG-MGF. I've only received fake IGF previously so can't give concrete reviews on that. When I have available time (like 3 day weekends) I typically up gym time to 5 days per week over 4. Towards day 4 or 5 I typically have a lot more DOMS than in days 1 or 2 and I find that nutrition doesn't really help even though I am about 35-45-20 using clean food sources.

100-200mcg can clear everything up fast and the pain reduces from say 8/10 to 4/10. I'm now starting to experiment with nutrient partitioning supplements to perhaps help with lowering bodyfat. I have noticed that some of those supplements tend to reduce soreness as a side effect (basic R-ALA, etc.). None of this compares to what you are going through but perhaps the MGF, etc. can improve your time to recover.

      Best of luck.

While I do find value in bro-science, I prefer PubMed whenever possible. I am one of those weirdos who actually enjoys reading the publications and turning them into layman speak. It keeps my mind active.

At least 4 different nurses (or assistant nurses) and one doctor (the aide to my surgeon) all told me I have been recovering faster than anyone they have seen so far. They were surprised to see me moving about without ANY issues a mere 3 hours after having a vertebrae removed from my neck. I have full range of motion, except for whatever the neck brace stops me from doing (and I am not trying to override it - I was a good, clean healing!).

At first I thought it was just that 3J, my personal trainer, has whipped me into a pretty good shape (and together we will get me even better after I am healed), but thinking about it now that I am not hopped up on *********, I realize it must be the HGH I have been taking for the last several months. I had gone up as high as 4IU, but two weeks before the surgery I dropped it down to 2IU to make sure there were no false carpal tunnel effects or anything caused by the HGH. I know 2IU does not give me any of those things, so I can be safe at that point.

I am sure the HGH has already kicked the healing up a notch. I took 2 doses of Pal-GHK yesterday and today I am on the normal 3 doses a day routine. I should have the TB500 in hand in 2 weeks or so, just in time to get the neck brace removed.

I am in GREAT spirits! Now that the pain is almost completely gone, I must be feeling the improved sense of well being everyone talks about HGH and Proviron giving them. Not surprisingly, having two bone spurs pressed tightly against my spinal cord cause a pain that even they could not reduce. Before surgery, my neck pain was a 1, my right shoulder a 1, my left fingers a 1, my right fingers an 8 and my right wrist a 9 on the 0-10 pain scale. Now, everything is a 1 except my wrist and fingers. My left fingers are a 2, my right fingers a 4, and my wrist a 0!!! NO PAIN IN MY WRIST AT ALL!!!!!!!

I was told the swelling in my neck is causing the pain in the fingers and neck and that it will slowly go away as the swelling goes down.

I am eager to see my surgeon's face in 2 weeks when he removes the neck collar and I have recovered a TON more than he would have expected. I am almost tempted to tell him why, since he is a bodybuilder himself...but I still feel strange about telling doctors about such things.

I am now off to watch my recording of Agents of Shield.

cybrsage your comment about being in great spirits speaks volumes. I'm glad to hear you're doing so well. I know how pain (Not THE Pain) gets in my head and clouds any thoughts of life's possibilities. I was given a corticosteroid not too long ago that stopped the pain for about 6 days and this huge dark cloud went away and I felt great. I didn't even remember what it felt like to be pain free - it was amazing - for 6 days. Your log is very informative and motivating. Thanks for taking the time to put it out here for us.

      Day Two

I cannot believe I have been home for only two days...it feels like MUCH longer. Still taking the peptides at the dosing level I mentioned. I do not know if I will feel anything different as the Pal-GHK courses through my system. So far I have felt nothing unusual.

      DAY 5
Holy crap, where did the last few days go? I have slept more in the last few days than I have slept in the last few WEEKS leading up to surgery!

Due to being, essentially sedentary, my personal trainer has dropped me to a 2000 cal per day diet. Here is my current daily workout routine:

I have a set of exercises I have to do twice a day. I added to it some to complete the whole body workout. Every exercise is performed 30 times, twice a day.

      Sitting:
Rounded Foot Lifts - Start with foot on heel and roll it forward onto toes, rounding the foot as it progresses forward.
      Shoulder Circles backwards then forwards
Centerline Flexes - you know that "hinge" in your rib cage where you can bend it and make the ribs concave, then bend the other way and make the back concave? Do each of them 30 times.
      Bicep Curls - 3 pounds
      Tricep Curls - 3 pounds

      Standing:
      Calf Raises
Ballet Movements - With all weight on left leg, move right leg to the side and tap the toe lightly, then bring back to center. Move the right leg backwards and tap the toe lightly, bring back to center. Do each leg 30 times.
      Skull Crushers - 3 pounds

0.4 mile brisk walk, twice a day.

PAIN UPDATE Scale 0 - 10, 0 is no pain and 10 is torture
My back was a 0 before surgery and now is around a 1, mostly just sore.
My right shoulder was a 4 before surgery and now it a 2
My right elbow was a 5 before surgery and now it is a 0
My right wrist was an 8 before surgery and now it is a 4
My right fingers were an 8 before surgery and now they are a 4
My left fingers were a 0 before surgery and now they are a 2

      Day 6

For the last 2 days, I have been sleeping without my neck brace on. I normally sleep on my back and I normally do not toss and turn, so I felt safe doing it as an experiment. The sleep is MUCH better without the collar, but both mornings I woke up more sore than the day before, so I have ended that experiment. Not yet time...I should have waited longer. I will try again in 3 more days and see if there is any improvement.

I can only sit for 1 hour before I start to suffer neck pain...they were right when they forbade me from doing any extended sitting or standing! I was also approved for Short Term Disability for 1 month - but if I am cleared to work sooner than that I am to call them and they will end it at that point.

I am taking the pain drugs sparingly - as in only when I am actually in great pain (6 or higher on the 0-10 pain scale). At 6 to 7, I take one pill and at 8 to 10 I take 2 pills. I am rarely at a 6 or higher any more. I was told it would take a few weeks for the swelling to go down and the pain in my fingers and wrist to start going away, but the pain in my wrist is a 0 almost all the time and my left fingers are never higher than a 4 (and almost always a 2). My right fingers are usually a 4 and sometimes go up to an 8 if I am being stupid (ie, using them for too long at one shot). As a comparison, my right wrist was a 9 before surgery (if I moved it at all!) and my right fingers were an 8 any time I even lightly touched them...and were a 6 if I did not touch them. So the improvement has been HUGE so far. I have only felt like crying from the pain once since surgery, it was a daily feeling before.

The sucky part about the Pal-GHK is that you do not feel it doing anything in your system. HGH has many effects you can see and feel so you know it is doing something, but Pal-GHK does not. The only thing I have to see if it is working is to compare my recovery to a normal recovery curve. So far, I am twice as recovered as I should be. I base this off what the surgeon's assistant said and how all the nurses acted towards me. I also base it off the amount of pain I have on a regular basis. Since I am not yet supposed to feel much relief (due to the swelling) and I feel a LOT of relief. The wrist pain was supposed to go away instantly, and it did, so the surgery did its job. Now to wait for the swelling to go away.

Pal-GHK helps with swelling and so does TB500 (which is in transit).

I am a little sad...due to the pain I messed up my last order and forgot to add Proviron to it. I just ran out. Luckily, there is a sale on proviron at PSL, so I can buy it cheaper. I can save money but I would rather have not ran out. I was starting to feel the improved sense of well being it grants now that most of the pain is gone. I should not have been surprised that large amounts of pain crush a person's sense of well being...but I am nonetheless.

I almost forgot to add that I am taking the neck brace off every other hour for 15 minutes each day. I take very great care not to do anything stupid while it is off. I just do not want any neck muscle atrophy to hinder recovery when it is finally removed for good.

I also increased my max weight moved - almost DOUBLED it! I am now at 5 pounds (I am forbidden from doing anything higher until my neck brace is removed). Look out world, a beast is being born!!!
