Actually you can get it prescribed from you doc if you want. I pay $2 for a months supply! Show the doc all study and talk about its AMPK and relate that to diabetics and heart disease and you are taking early steps to prevent it as it runs in your family..lol that was my argument.

Do you have any links on this? I'd love to bring that into my DOC and see if I could get it prescribed.

found these notes from my homework almost 9 months ago: BTW if you blood glucose is too low , doc might not prescribe it, cause it definitely reduces it.
