Insulin, how many got fd up

I am curious about bad insulin stories as well as did you end up diabetic from insulin usage? I know friends who ended up Diabetic. Whats your take you think 4 week cycle of insulin is safe from diabetes since it messes with the pancreas?

Using insulin will NOT make you diabetic. It will decrease insulin sensitive dramatically during use but that insulin sensitivity will return to normal once you stop the exogenous insulin. Now if you are already borderline type 2 and you run slin for a year straight.....it may give you the nudge you need to be truly type 2. I have NEVER seen anyone become diabetic from insulin usage and in fact I know tons of patients that have been on insulin for 10 plus years and were able to stop insulin completely by losing weight, diet modification and exerciSe. Exogenous insulin does NOT make you diabetic.

If your going to use insulin. Use it in 4 week increments because it will make you less insulin sensitive which will make you gain more fat and gain less muscle. I suggest 4 weeks on using a max of 4 days a week with metformin on days off and use metformin for at least 2 weeks after stopping usage.

also you must be confident in dosing insulin because you CAN kill yourself if you don't know how to dose it properly. With proper dosing and following proper nutrient protocol it is extremely safe.

Insulin done right is pretty safe in my eyes. Just always have your "get out of jail free" card on you.

Start doses small with over the top carbs the raise the dose and the carbs. The slowly drop your carbs as you get more familiar with it.

Never sleep while your insulin is active.

My wife is diabetic and all it takes is one fuckup and your life could be over. When you have to much slin on board and your sugar drops the first part of the brain to go is reasoning. We aren't professionals and I think just my opinion and I happen to be very well educated in this subject is that it's not worth it. Please be careful keep oj or honey on hand and also glucose tabs on you at all times. There will be times you might bottom out and don't even realize it's happening. I've had my wife with a blood sugar of 30 and be fine and then other times she could be in the 40's and be out of control there really isn't a good way of knowing except for testing. Then you always have to worry about rebound. I don't disagree with slin I just hope when people use it they educate themselves and they have to let someone now what they are doing. My wife always has extra slin and it's the best because the timing of it is so right on and I won't take the chance.

Very true but use of slin with diabetes and the average person is very different?. A friend who is diabetic saw a pen in the fridge and lost it at me and said there was no way i could even handle 10iu. Made her train with me a few days later and pinned 25iu pre work out . She flipped out big time. Certainly changed her perspective on that

Insulin is safe if you know what you are doing everything comes down to your knowledge and understanding on a subject. you know when your going hypo it's all about knowing your body. I always kept just enough sugar in me o keep me from feeling symptoms and had great results. the whole you can become a diabetic is false its broscience that somehow stuck around. Don't believe everything you read. Also I found after 4-5 weeks the gains weren't as good. so I'd take two weeks off start again if done right you can break barriers you haven't before it's a great supplement I believe. I'm waiting till after my igf cycle and I'll be taking it with my hgh cycle in a week or two.

Brother this is the Problem with insulin. It is UNITS and not IU!!! 25IU would would be 250units of insulin and were very well kill you unless you are about 1,000g of dextrose.

I am not saying this to take away from the seriousness of it, BUT.....I have probably have 1,000 patients go hypoglycemic after giving them insulin in my career and have seen multiple nurses accidentally give an entire bag of insulin that was mixed as a drop for dka and suppose to run slowily over a few days all at once and nobody dies ever. Your only going to die if you donnotnrealize you have dropped and your all alone and don't eat anything. Also, when someone has low blood sugar even in the 30s our protocol is 25g of pure dextrose. Not 3 cups rice, 4 gatorades, 6 candy bars like bodybuilders do.

if you are educated, know what s&s to look for, know the timing and onset peak and duration of the insulin you are using, and not when and how much to eat.....insulin is extremely safe. I've used it multiple times and only went hypo once and that's because i was training legs for almost 2 hours....all i did was take ONE 10g glucose tab and I was fine.

Good to know man pens are definitely safer. If you ever have any questions on protocol just let me know

Im looking for the fast acting 3-4hr insulin . Is Eli Lilly Humalin a good brand? Also how about these NovoRapid Flexpens? the one Tony Huge used in his videos seemed hella convenient.

Also could you linke a good insulin protocol article if you have one bookmarked?
