Hcg Human Chorionic Gonadotropin .


Hcg is extracted from the urine of pregnant women.

Hcg mimics LH(leutenizing hormone). The presence of LH causes the Leydig cells in the gonads to produce testosterone. This effect also restores the size of the testes rather quickly if they were suppressed from a cycle.


Hcg is commonly used by Bodybuilders to maintain testicular function during the administration of exogenous androgen's

I do not recommend using Hcg for Pct as it mimics the body's natural Lh production. However if you do not recover after running a Pct. Then it might be worth looking at the power Pct method by Michael Scally.


A common dose of Hcg run during a cycle would be 200-250 iu 2 x ew. This should be enough to maintain some testicular function. Its best to dose it every 3.5 days because of the active life


It is also important to note that using Hcg will cause more aromatization. So running an ai will reduce circulating estrogen reducing the risk of Gyno and all other negative sides from elevated estrogen.

Once you have reconstituted your Hcg with Bac water it will not loose potency for 90 days if stored properly in refrigeration. It is important to use Bac water as the sterile water (Sodium Chloride) it often comes with is for single use.

It is also important to look at planning a complete cycle with Hcg included. Why add hcg? Well after you introduce exogenous androgen (Steroid Cycle) your brain will notice that your testosterone levels are above baseline and there is no need to produce leutenizing hormone. This is part of the negative feedback loop. Therefore the testies will stop functioning. We want the testies to continue to function on cycle to keep the Leydig cells active. Think of it like a car battery. When you are starting it every day it lasts longer then leaving it parked and letting the battery die. You have to jump start the car and after so many jump starts the battery doesn't last as long. Your Leydig cells are similar if you keep them running it makes a much smoother transition to Pct rather then having to try to start them again.

Also let's remember to discontinue Hcg 3 days before you start your PCT!!
