Thread: Expiration date question

I got several humulin R vials last year but haven’t gotten around to using them because I was in contest prep. Now that I can use them, I realized the expiration date said 9/2016. I’ve kept them refrigerated since I’ve had them. So my question is would the slin still work tho it’s expiration date has passed?

Um I'm pretty sure if its been refrigerated its good, like most drugs if they've been kept as directed? They are actually good!for much longer than the expiration date. If any thing it might lose some potency as time goes on.
Hopefully some one else will chime in to confirm what I've said.

That’s what I was thinking but figured I get a few more opinions. Thank you for the advice

Because I have 3 of them already, and the Walmart’s in my area do novalin N instead of humulin R
