Options for fixing a bum shoulder

I’ve been dealing with a bad shoulder for about a year, what are my best options?

      R. Original post is very vague and doesn't give much info? Can't expect non-doctors to give advice on so little info? Tough enough for a real doctor to do that with adequate info and prior history.

Did a doctor diagnose this or are you just guessing? If your Doc or Orthopedic Doc diagnosed this as tendinitis what was his recommended treatment plan? Did he/she take x-rays, give cortisone shots, anti-inflammatory meds, etc.

Actually with prior history and records a treatment such as an arthroscopy can be recommended by a doctor without difficulty. Generally this is done when the prior post above recommendations have failed.

I haven’t gotten any tests done it was just a doctors opinion based off of symptoms and I’ve had no treatment aside from generic anti inflammatories.

That's the first step. Did he or you set a return appointment from 3 wk to a month? Taking the NSAIDS p.r.n.?

If you don't have a follow up appointment that your PCP it's recommended you follow up in 1 month for a re-check. Chin up. These can be fixed with minimally invasive surgery with a few stab incisions (arthroscopy). OF course he will have to recommend a surgeon/specialist for this but it's good to get on that wait list if it isn't getting better. Depending on who you golf with, etc. Can speed up your time.

Just stay on top of it because nothing can be done without your cooperation.

Go get an MRI and see what's going on. I had rotator cuff surgery a year ago. On top of the tears I also had 2 really big bone spurs. I'm not right yet and am planning on a short run of BPC157 to see if it helps.

I don’t have insurance so money is my biggest obstacle when it comes to the doctor. Thanks for
the sound advice I’ll have to see what I can do!

Yeah, we need a little more information on your issue. An orthopedic appointment would be a start followed by an MRI. I would seriously look into stem cell therapy/regen to avoid a replacement at an early age.
