So I’m not going to argue with you. I’m giving you facts based off real life experiment which aren’t really disputable

We'll said and true. I'm type 2 diabetic and I've crashed from Log and Levimir. I even take it farther by saying from personal experience, lantus and Levimir crash worse cause of the time frame. Have to make sure you have it covered well in advance.
But yeah, OP, I have some and a lot of Log. But til you find some, spread the Log out in smaller doses. Metphormin helps too and the lower the bodyfat, better it works.

Thanks for coming in LT. I have a friend whose diabetic and said the same thing. She even goes as far to say it isn’t 20-24 hours active but more like 16-18 at most for Lantus or levimir.
It’s important to not become a robot and just take everything by the book as gospel. It’s instances like these where real life experiences are much more vital on how to approach and apply protocols

you can go hypo on any insulin, it depends on a lot of factors other than "oh i pinned 5oiu of lantus im good if i eat my meals every 2hrs ". Try managing a sick diabetics blood glucose levels lol. It is realatively "safe" compared to the others but it can get you

to each their own body i guess then cause ive used it now for many cycles and have never ever experienced hypo symptoms other then when im peaking on other insulins...so again no lantus does not have a TRUE peak. does it elevate at a point sure but not enough thatit has any effect on ME.

when you allign any ducks up perfectly sure you can create a storm... but the point is you gotta have those things perfectly lined up... cause first off if i was sick i would not be pinning 50 iu of lantus.. id be taking the day off. speaking from a non diabetic stand point youd have to set yourself up for complete failure an order to go hypo on lantus but again sure its possible.

Never did I say it had a true peak. I said it has a peak that’s is noticeable. And one time it actually had a pretty serious peak that I felt some hypo symptoms. So just because you haven’t felt that or respond differently doesn’t mean another hasn’t felt otherwise. As you know in this game it’s not a one size fits all so just because you respond a certain way does not mean everyone does the same my friend
