Test Parameters:
1. Inject 10 IU's - IM (deltoid works great) in the morning.
2. Fasted
3. Human Growth Serum test at 3,4,5 hours after blood draw.
Batch 1: RX Omnitrope (The legit $30 an IU pharmacy stuff)
- 10IU's will be taken at 7AM sharp - (7-7-2012)
- HGH tests will be administered at 10AM, 11AM, 12PM.
Ok, so I woke up at 5AM (on my freaking birthday...) and:
1. Took 4.5IU's of the Omnitrope - (instead of 10IU’s as originally proposed)
2. Injected SubQ - (instead of IM as originally proposed).
3. Blood tested at 8AM
4. Blood Tested at 9AM
5. Blood Tested at 10AM
The explanation for the changes:
Since my original post, I read some medical articles that were sent my way. It would appear that the liver cannot process more than 4IU's in one 4-6 hour phase. Anything in excess is simply passed out through urine. If one wishes to take more than 4IU's a day, they must do so in multiple intervals. Also, the most important thing is to establish a baseline using the authentic pharmacy stuff from which to compare other HGH's against. So, since measuring multiple injections are not the goal of this experiment I decided against injecting 10IU’s. Also, I bumped my dose from the recommended 4IU’s to 4.5IU’s to make sure that my liver was saturated as well as possible. Of course there are some timing considerations, but let us see how this run goes.
Additionally, the medical articles indicate that IM injections are minimally beneficial compared to SubQ injections, especially when one considers the potential complications of IM injections. Furthermore, HGH acts on the entire body's fat deposits, but HGH is interesting and unique in that it creates accelerated fat loss at the actual spot of injection. With that in mind, I am sure as hell going to keep sticking it in my belly!
Finally, I have attached some graphs that show the saturation of HGH over time from two independent medically published studies. As Spicyer has mentioned in other posts, the optimum time period appears to be in the 3-5 hour range.
On that note: Mad shout out to Spicyer for all his knowledgeable help on this subject.
Listed in order of sample taken - 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours - Post injection.
The numbers do appear to be low, I am not sure if perhaps the dose was lower than my body was able to process. Too many variables, but I am curious as to opinions.
Remember, this is stuff shipped overnight directly from an American manufacturer in a cooled container. I refrigerated it immediately, inserted water into the container in a very careful and slow method. In other words, I believe I took all necessary precautions.
Ultimately, this does give me a baseline. I may try 10IU's at one time period to compare to the 4.5IU's from this test batch.
So tomorrow, Monday, I may either try to test myself with the same dose at 2 hours to establish a more clear and definitive picture of my personal levels. That way everything I test afterwards can be compared to the best time window to provide everyone the most accurate results.
OR
I may begin testing 1 or the 2 other HGH products in my possession obtained from various vendors. (I won't be using names because 1. I have to make sure the rules allow it and 2. I don't want to start wild speculation until I have concrete numbers) Even if I tested a vendors items and they were bunk on my blood levels, I remind everyone that it could be user error (In other words, I could be an idiot).
OK, so after considering the opinion of someone on this board who I consider knowledgeable:
I injected 4.5IU's of Omnitrope IM (Into my shoulder, rather than SubQ).
I also had myself tested almost exactly 3 hours after the injection.
Recall- When I injected 4.5IU's of Omnitrope SubQ and was tested after 3 hours the results showed a level of 7.3 (See Below)
So tomorrow morning I should be able to post a comparison.
