High lantus results?
Wondering what kind of gains you have experienced when using a high dose of lantus? How much did you use and how often?
Just trying to get idea as I've been experimenting with my insulin lately (on a cut so running it low right now) and I'm type 1 diabetic so it's not like I can damage my insulin production.
When I start bulking again I'm gonna crank it up as high as I can go over a week or two. I have a continuous blood glucose monitor so I'll be able to see lows coming before they happen and prevent them. How much does it take to start noticing a difference 100units, 150, and so on.
Any advice on using lantus for gains is appreciated.

High lantus results?
I just did a thread on this subject 15 hrs ago. I’ve used it by itself along w small amount of test. I started at 25 units Am upon waking and ate 6-7 x throughout the day. There are many options but one thing I noticed was that short high dose Lantus shots worked better than smaller ones 65 units-75units was what I ended up with. Everone is different and under superision of your coach/physician. Shorter runs are more efficient because of the quick need for higher doses, probably due the insulin resistance that can happen after a long duration. There are literally so many point to bring up. I suggest you read the article I did in pomp subforum. Primemuscle also has a good log that he does there.

Good to know I'll check it out.
One advantage I guess I have being diabetic is I can run high dose for a long period without having to worry about hurting my own insulin production cause I don't have any. Insulin sensitivity on the other hand could be a issue.

Is there? I see all the time people saying things like supplements may help insulin sensitivity......they don't.
Besides real drugs like metformin is there much that can be done? The only thing I've ever done that reduced insulin sensitivity was take mk677 either the hgh or igf1 increase definitely was fighting for the same receptors as the insulin.
I've taking insulin for the last 16 years now at the same amounts I did when I started and mk677 is the only thing in those that made a difference.

I made a thread about this in the pomps place subforum. I covered this in the post. Basically it pretty much agrees w your experience. Like I
always say, everyone has a different experience and protocol as we are all unique.

berberine in addition Low carb /high fat diet can work wonders.
Also, be very careful with metformin. Although it can help us with insulin sensitivity, it will dramatically lower IGF-1 levels, so much so that it’s actually being considered as a treatment option for some types of tumors/cancer

Agreed !
Igf1 is an important topic that goes ignored with a lot of different meds, like AIs for example.
I typically use significantly less Lantus than mentioned above, ~20iu on training days only. I don’t think larger doses of insulin are necessary, especially if you’re including a fast acting version around your workout. If you require these significant levels of insulin to feel drops in blood sugar, your diet is not in check AT ALL in terms of bodybuilding.

That's how lantus is supposed to be run, in conjunction with Log. According to the lantus calculator, on their website, @260lbs I'm supposed to take 23iu's. That dose is to help keep blood glucose in normal ranges through the day and at night, but you still need log with meals to absorb that glucose to prevent damage to the arteries, veins, organs, and tissues.
