I wanted to bring what I've discovered over months. I take Seroquel, an antipsychotic used to treat the depressive and manic states of bipolar 1 or 2 disorder. Seroquel works through many pathways in the body but it's large majority is through stabilizing neurotransmitter activity through dopamine and serotonin receptors. It also acts on some histamine receptors which makes it so effective for improving sleep for those who don't sleep due to mania or depressive states keeping them awake at night or anxious. I wanted to explain because at first glance the word antipsychotic sounds harsh.

Onto the discovery, I found that when I combine a decent dose of MK677 around 20-25mg with MY doctor recommended dose of 75mg of Seroquel before bed. I have done this combination for spells of 2-4 days off and on for 8 months so I have a decent amount of anecdotal evidence. I found that this combo delivers a much more pronounced feeling of well being than just Seroquel alone. I think this is because the endogenous release of growth factors and peptides from the MK677 work with the neurotransmitters that are produced from the Seroquel to make or release BDNF or brain derived nuerotrophic factors. I can literally feel the reduction of inflammation in my brain, there's far more clarity, and the depressive and manic symptoms are much less severe. Again this is all anecdotal but I wanted to put it out there for anyone else is a similar boat and because it's a generally interesting hypothesis/discovery. I hope this helps someone.
