hgh causing glucose levels to rise

someone I know who is on HGH just took a blood test and it came back with raised glucose levels (just barely raised) How long does he need to get off hgh before his glucose levels stabilize to normal range?

      thanks in advance

Many of the early studies using high GH doses (≥0.01 mg/kg/day) reported that fasting glucose and insulin levels increased after short-term GH treatment for less than 6 months, but were usually restored to baseline levels after 1 or 2 years of GH treatment (Table 1).

just a blip from an article I recently read. In my opinion research is suggestive, as different people will have different results and outcomes.

GH will raise glucose and RBCs. I find monitoring my carbs more when on helps a ton. I also donate blood every 2 months to prevent them and hemoglobin from getting too high.

I usually run insulin when I’m using a lot of GH and I have a glucose test meter I use during those times.

use HGH fasting, first thing in the morning.
Wait 1 hr to 1.5 hrs for breakfast.

Use a calorie app to track your food intake, My Fitness Pal is a good one.
You can set it in your computer for 3 meals and 3 snacks.

My glucose has been elevated for a bit, even before gh, but my hematocrit jumped from 48 to 54 in like 30 days of starting gh. My doc mentioned blood donations are recommended. Being skeptical if dumping blood actually helps, I asked him “does it really even make a difference, or will the RBC production bring hematocrit right back up within a few days?” He paused for a second and gave the generic “54 is where we recommend doing donations every 8 weeks”

so he answered my question, without answering the question.

the body produces many many millions of rbc every day. Does anyone here have any bloodwork done a week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, etc after a blood donation that shows the hematocrit levels actually stayed low? I don’t see how it doesn’t just skyrocket back up within days of donation.
