Thread: Test E recipe question

I need some input from some experienced bro's on this recipe I just brewed up. I tried IT and I gotta tell ya the day after pinning it felt like I got kicked in the ass by a horse. The pain lasted for about a week or so. Below is the recipe I used. So any ideas as to why I'm getting such bad pip for so long? The brewing process was your standard process in case any one is wondering.
MCT OIL= 115ML
BA=5ML
BB=45ML
TEST E POWDER=100G

What mg you make it at?

Maybe drop the bb content.

It should be considered a "luxury" for those who want thinner solutions and/or want to brew something at a higher concentration. People respond differently to EO and if you have a problem with...don't use it. If you wish not to use EO with the following recipes, just replace the amount of EO with the oil of your choice. I have listed these recipes with a general 50% EO/50% GSO mixture, as this is the standard. You can use any amount of EO you desire, from 0% to 100%, just make sure you do the math correctly and come out with the same amount of ml's.

So in n effort to try and save this batch can you suggest a solution. I would like to have the final product at 250mg/ml if at all possible. I have everything on hand to add and filter the adjusted batch.

With the volumetric numbers provided, it should be 240mL of total volume. 1 gram of powder displaces 0.75mL of liquid so 100g would be 75mL. So it seems his concentration would be in excess of 300mg/mL. Actually, ~420mg/mL. That may be were the pain is coming from...too high a concentration of AAS.

Thanks Tazzzzz these are very helpful and will try them on my next brew. Hey is it possible to drop the % of BB to around 10% on all these recipes?

If you do the math with the recipies I have to use 100g, HS is right, your off the chart high on your concentration and will hurt like hell if not get some infection. You should have been at about 253ml of oil, 12ml BA & 60ml BB to be at 250mgs/ml. You must be at about 550-600 mgs/ml with your numbers.

From what I understand, you can take it as loww as 5% and still get good suspension. That shouldn't be your PIP problem though--the high concentration would be.

That would be my guess. I've never done that but I can't see why it wouldn't work. Maybe someone else has done this and can add some first hand experience. Check out the Home Brew posts and see if you can dig something up. If not, let me know how it works for you.
