New Syringe Filtering Setup Invention/Method
Happening right now. Test run.
30ml NPP @100mg/ml 1%BA 15%BB in MCT Oil.
Calf raise block with 2×4 laid across, 5/8" hole for 10ml syringe to fit through.
First put sterile syringe through hole careful not to touch tip to any surface. Remove plunger. Attach syringe filter with 20G needle. Put vent in sterile vial (used 24G) and put syringe filter needle into vial. Backfill with solution.
Insert plunger. Add weight mechanism and weight. Used 3lbs weight. Balance carefully.
Note: There will be air in top of syringe above solution. This is good. You will need to sometimes twist plunger as it will stick, and apply some downward pressure to compress air which will assist in filtering. Flow was around 2-3 drops/second. Does slow down after a couple minutes. Just wiggle carefully/twist plunger, apply slight pressure to compress again. The air will push most remaining fluid from filter. Some may go to the brew gods.
This is a quick prototype.
Going to build a stable smaller portable one using a plastic block for syringe holder that is thicker so it covers more of syringe. Also ability to be wiped down and sanitized.

That will hold fine on NPP.
I like the setup. Good to see someone go through the pain I do. lol.
I've only done upto 100 vials (10ml) by hand. I'll tell you over time it helps grip strength, lol.

Still holding this morning. I have bottle top filters, however for test runs, I got a box of syringe filters.
My current gear has Miglyol, which is similar to MCT oil, so I wonder if I should do a test injection anyeay to see if I have an allergic reaction? I currently have no known allergies. Lactose intolerant and some bloating with oatmeal...

Just pinned 0.25cc or 25mg in left delt. Really just to test pip and reaction to MCT.
Either I will die, my arm will explode and fall off, or nothing.
I also just took 5mg Cialis. Made some dosed @10mg/ml. 300g powder, 50% Distilled water 50% Ora-Plus.
Made in syringe that was plugged on end, to allow for displacement, add distilled water to 13ml, add powder, then Ora-plus to 30ml line. Then shook for awhile. Soaked in hot water, shook some more, put in bottle.20180216_115025-800x600.jpg

So, npp still holding. It's around 70 degrees. Drops to 68 at night.
I did not have a bad reaction to the injection. No pip. I will be pinning 50mg ED for next 8 weeks for the end of my blast.

I'm gonna trey near same numbers with prop. IF you wish, i'll let you know how it holds up. I got 20 bottles to make.
