I usually brew 250ml at time some times 500ml just so I don't have to brew for a couple years while helping out a few buddies. Im using hybex bottles with 45mm tops but the septa are not ideal or I'm not possibly using them right. When i puncture the hybex bottles with the septa it leaves a mark where the needle was inserted.
The 33mm septa tops work great and the needle leaves no marks. The problem is I haven't found good bottle top filters that work with the 33mm bottles.
My only option would be to sterilize both bottles, use the 45 to filter then quickly pour into the 33mm bottles with the septa tops.
What bottles, bottle top filters, and septa lids are you guys using?
