      Thinking about brewing, Have questions

Biggest newb on the planet here so please be easy on me. I have run my first cycle and most probably did it wrong after doing the research. Ordered more (in vials) and my product was seized twice. So my thought is that raw may get through easier and be loads cheaper. So I have a ton of questions.
1 If I order test powder do I need to specify anything about the ester or any other specifics?
2 After test e is made what is the shelf life and should it be refrigerated?
3 I live in the US, whats a batch cost and whats the standard batch size?
4 Aside from the powder can the other ingredients be be bought local (US)?
5 NOT ASKING FOR A SUPPLIER HERE! How do you find a good supplier without using the trail and error method and possible wasting money, time and possible bad sht you don't want to inject.
6 Are there GOOD local (USA) suppliers for raws or only stuff that must go through customs?

Guys, thanks for your help. I've done a lot of research and it seems the more I do the less I know. There seems to be so many that want to rip you off. Hope nothing here will get me into any trouble with the moderator.

      Cheers

      1. idk
      2. idk
      3.idk
      4. yes literally everything else
      5. bop has a few raw suppliers
      6. no us domestic suppliers that i know of

brewing is loads cheaper, and loads more work. takes a good brewer to actually make a useable product. if your previous packs have been seized twice im guessing you didnt use a source on bop? why not just use a domestic bop source then?

      good luck

      1. Ester depends on what you want. Do you want something like a cyp or enanthate that you don't have to pin as frequently, or a propionate that is required EOD.

      2. IDK

      3. Batch size? As in how much you can buy? I've seen the sources offer all different amounts depending on what compound you are buying.

      4. All other necessary ingredients, BB, BA, oil, syringes, filters, sterile vials can be found on Amazon, eBay, lab sites etc...

      5. Go to sponsor section. There are 2 in there that offer domestic powders.

I've been thinking about doing this myself. Just ask google there are tons of instructions, pictures, videos, lists of what you need.

Why not just order domestic vials? There are plenty of domestic sources here that are top notch and have great prices.

If you’re dead set on brewing your own you need to do a lot more reading. Most of your questions can be answered by reading through the home brew chemistry forum. Do the leg work first then ask questions if you’re still not sure.

My plan is to make 60 ml, test E 250 (enough for 2 cycles). But I want enough material and powder for twice that much. So far on my shopping list:
      lab materials.JPG

Will syringe in picture work with filter and is it reusable?
      Will this filter work?
Am I correct in assuming the filter can be used for a complete batch and then disposed of?
Is the Beaker and graduated cylinder sufficient?

      All constructive comments welcomed.

      Also found this on youtube.

Thought it may come in handy after heating brew. Lots of variations available. Might work well with a erlenmeyer flask.

      This is what you need:
      BA
      BB
Syringe filters that's compatible with luer lock syringes (preferably PVDF)
Syringes with luer lock Beaker Oil (you can get Grapeseed oil at the grocery store)
      Sterile vials
      Beaker

I already bought MCT oil from GNC, will that work?

Did you look at the jpec file in my post? With the exception of the filter in my post will the rest of the supplies be acceptable?

Is the BB needed for for Test e as I didnt see it in the recipe I have?

That mct oil will work fine. No need to buy filtered oils as you’re going to filter them anyway.

Make sure you get .2 micron filters, not .45. .45 is fine to filter all bacteria but .2 will filter out any contaminates including viruses.

The BB shouldn’t be necessary as I’ve read from multiple reliable sources that test e will hold fine without it. You might run into an issue with it crashing if its in the cold but other than that you’ll be fine. I’d recommend getting BB to have on hand in case it doesn’t hold. I’ve never made test e without BB personally. I use 2% ba and 10% BB for test e.
