Thread: Raws Arrived Melted

So I got my raws for my first attempt at brewing. I ordered 25g of test E and test C and 15g of Deca. I wanted to start off with 20ml of each to ease my way in. Well my test E and Deca arrived looking like a rock of crack. So now it looks like I will get 1 shot at each of those and either hit or miss. My question is, should the fact that it has melted down and solidified change anything? The source says no but I'd rather hear from people that have nothing invested in the situation. Thanks!

I got some deca that was all rocked up and it still came out fine after brewing . Not sure if it affected potency tho

Nah man the melting point of both of those is under 100F. If it’s hot enough outside it will melt. My lack was actually leaking a bit and made it nasty to handle. Since it’s hardened you should be able to just scrape off what you need.

That's the main thing I'm curious about. Most things when heated, especially more than once and cooled again, lose their strength/potency/integrity. Hopefully it's not the case here.

That crossed my mind but don't know how much of a pain in the ass it would be. Some area's are a little gelatinous and wouldn't be easy to cut. Plus with my luck my girlfriend would walk in the house unannounced as I'm doing it, see me shaving a crystal rock and think I had taken up crack.

If it’s not fully solid yet throw it in the freezer for a few hours. That’ll help

It's a lot easier to work with when those compounds are solid. I'd do the same thing as droid, throw it in the freezer.

It will affects the hormones some and make the gear come out darker

A couple of the raws had melted and then solidified again but as crystal rocks, not powder which is easier to measure out. I wasn't planning to use the powder all in one shot so it poses a problem for me. So now I will have to shave the rocks and try to get the amount to approximately where I need or just brew the whole rock.
