Homebrew- need advice on how to sterilize equiptment
Hi y'all. I've read online several methods pertaining to sterilization of lab equipment n such but I'd like to hear some methods from guys that homebrew with proven techniques.
I ordered "SEALED STERILE GLASS VIALS" needless to say they were not sealed nor sterile. I heard dipping the vials in 90% Alcohol and then baking them in the oven at 350 for half an hour does the trick but if you can offer some guidance I'd appreciate it.
I misspelled equipment on the title don't beat me up

Using pressure cooker to sterilize them works if you get the temperature up and at least 15 psi.
I’m using a Bunsen burner to help as well. I bake my vials at 300 for 30 minutes.

The rubber seals I soak in alcohol before I put them in the bottles and sea them. I wipe off the excess.

And no I don’t soak the vials in alcohol first. Baking has done the trick for
Me so far.

As far as your beakers what do you use to clean them before brewing?

Beakers don’t need to be sterilized. Simple glassware cleaner will be sufficient since you will filter the contents afterward.

Yes, I did so too. After filter the contents, I will use the crimper seal it and put the vails into the Sterilizer (high temperature for Steriling), then the homebrew finished.

What kind of steroids do you filter? I have homebrewed before, there are filter, empty vails, syringe and crimper needed.
