ha, you have no idea mate. lol.

it's a long story. i wrote it all down for ya, but then i deleted it. let's just say hiding out in the open is more difficult than staying under the radar completely. not sure how this isn't a big deal. manufacturing could possibly get distribution and, or conspiracy tacked onto it. at a minimum that's like 6 yrs in the clink and at a max that's 16 years. and i have no clue what one gets for bring drugs into the country. it's potentially life ending for someone old. A death sentence. say goodbye to family/your kids/your wife, good jobs, money, freedom, safety, good food, women, traveling and just about everything else. wife would loose the house and divorce my locked up ass. bum rap. i'm not trying to throw the towel in on life despite my little hobbies. what am i going to do if i got nothin? enjoy it best i can. fuck it. i am not trying to do that though, but i'm also no smug saint. can't and won't be.

fuck the next day dropping my kid off at school i saw like 8 or ten cops... no clue why. they were probably looking for somebody, probably not me though, however. it's just a little reminder to mind my biz and keep my nose clean as it can be. my business stays in my house. i'm trying not to follow in the family tradition if you know what i mean. can't seem to stay away from some stuff though. being bad is fun. i'm trying to go back to school for bio chem. already got my associates.

let the good times ROLL! peace and Happy Holidays! it's a time to be thankful for what we do have, and to be reminded of what others don't. i'm not religious, but if i was you can bet i'd be thanking somebody. sometimes i wonder how much i really care though... ha

ok, didn't get my fricken hot plate yet, but did the melt test anyways. both the test P and Test C passed. not sure where exactly within the melting windows for each, but i wager it was near the lower end, but who really knows. i did it on an a flat iron skillet in my kitchen.

my recipe is in another post.

Everything will melt if it is hot enough. If you don't know the temp it melted at then the "test" was worthless. An accurate thermometer and an oven or something that will read the temp of your skillet is needed.

You'll never get an exact temp from a hotplate (even if you have a lab hotplate) nor kitchen things like temps etc.

To do a proper test you need real lab equipment not kitchen utensils. Don't even waste your time or raws on doing these type of tests.

Melt point tests are excruciatingly slow but a pretty good indicator of what you actually have. I only test the more expensive raws every time but randomly also test other things too. When the primo from Purple Panda melts exactly in the middle of the range it is supposed to as it did/does for me, it sure gives you some confidence you are getting what you expected.

Melt point testers can be had cheap on eBay and the capillary tubes are dirt cheap as well.

(This is the part where people seems to think my mentioning what equipment I have is braggadocio.)

I have two Stuart Melt Point Testers. SMP-1. One is branded "Bibby" as Stuart makes them for many different labels. Both were acquired on eBay for less than $100usd.
I also have a Buchi-545 which I used to use to confirm my Stuart readings but it takes up too much space on my counters so it gets little use anymore. I also got this on eBay very cheap.
I think I will start using a sponsor here to test my stuff from time to time.
"Trust but verify" is my motto.
