For almost 10 years I used BA/BB = 2%/3%. Never had a problem - not even once after probably making thousands of vials.
Heat well, filter once. Decent filters and a decent vacuum pump make things much easier.
That’s it. Don’t worry too much - you’ll get the hang of it.

It changes depending on the melting point of the compound...bb is generally used to melt the raw...but if u have eq or Deca it isn't necessary... I opted to add it so your gear won't crash if it gets cold...or have crystals show up...my gear never crashes period due to using it anyway...
BA is only alcohol to keep it sterilized...some people say too much will make a "pip" pain...
People like keeping them low because of the "pip" and others claim they get headaches from it...some people are very sensitive....
Everywhere I've seen go with 2 ba and 20 bb as a general guideline...but u can get away with lower percentages with easier gear...
If u push too close on BA then it won't stay sterilized for a long time...I choose to go higher because I use 27 and 28 guages... I want thinner oils so it will go through my syringes and longer shelf life... I make big batches at a time so this is my method....
If u go too close on the bb side, your gear can crash and the crystals may not go up your syringe...might hurt like hell if u get to inject it...
People always like to act like the lesser ba bb is superior...it is all in opinion....
How to know what to do? Finding what flashpoint your raws are will help...eq is already a liquid and doesn't need bb for melting..but if it gets cold... LMAO...u wish u had a little in there..
Allot of people share recipes to see how low they can go with either or....but I always read about major problems when it doesn't come out correctly...
Basically, u can trust someone else's shit and hope for the best or you can learn flashpoints for every gear and calculate it yourself....there r posts with people claiming how low they can go with it....than later u watch them complain about problems with brew...how to fix it...most of the time it's ruined...then they don't understand why?
I'm not sensitive to ba or bb and never felt a pip from it as long as ba doesn't go above 5.......never got headaches either so I couldn't tell you how realistic to get those symptoms are...
2 and 20 or 2 tand 10 is standard on the net...if u want specific towards each individual gear you will need to calculate it out and the patience to do so.....

yes it is but a lot of people will filter there oil with .45 first brew it and filter it with .22 and they said it easier to filter and will less clog the .22 but you be ok with only after you have brew

Pharma companies used to use 0.2% BA in their AAS injectables. BA works as an local anesthetic, temporarily.

As I've mentioned many times before, be careful when heating the oil. I'm not gonna go through all the reasons again. One of them is that if the oil is too hot you will fuck up your bottle top filter. They can't handle to much heat since those filters aren't even made for filtering oils, specially not hot oils.
You can probably use 5-10% BA with no issues, but why would you?
Back in the day when people used oils like GSO you could pre-filter that oil, it's really not needed though, just extra work. Filtering finished product twice is really a bad idea IMO. It's only a good idea if you want weaker gear
Nowadays people usually use MCT-oils, that stuff is clean and thin so there is no need to pre-filter it.
Over complicating things and handling the finished product and/or the chemicals that you're working on many times only raises the chances of contaminating your gear.

The reason why I use gso instead of mct oils is because of the antioxidant properties...many studies showed it absorbs quicker than other oils...meaning your not walking around with a lump in your ass for a week...it can literally rub out...not to mention better health benefits for the body ...
Cocanut oils in raw form have health benefits as well, but all the health properties are diminished when filtrated and extracted mct...
Many claim gso goes bad before other oils... meaning the time of expiration before it starts to break down.... I have kept gear made with gso for up to a year...and haven't seen any changes or differences in it's properties....
I have tried other oils only to have pain, a lump ass, or severe acne from oils.... this is why I make high mg per ml... I want to cut down on the oil... I can use less for the same dosages as others...
There is nothing wrong with using different oils and seeing which is best for you....
Everyone will give a different response bc it's an opinion...
Just as mine is....
