All glass is the way to go for small batches but even at 300ml, using capsule filters and a peristaltic pump only increases your consumables cost by $2/vial. Negligible for the peace of mind.
Vacuum is too slow and there are too many variables in where you can introduce pathogens, IMO.
interesting! Can/will you suggest any particular capsule filters you recommend? And what style pump do you use (brand/part #)? I’m humble enough to admit that may filtration techniques could always improve.
