PVDF filters are compatible with BB and BA, never had any issues while using these filters. I've even used PES, those filters can usually handle a small amount of BB (if you filter it fast) without starting to break down.
My advice about those membranes is you can either sterilize them for real, I can send a small summary/Article that I've written about sterilizing equipment if you PM me. Or you just use it as is, that's what I've done.
If you decide to use the membrane discs as is, brew small batches that you'll use up in a short time.
thank you THX; as always, you’re the man!

Oldskool,
here is the part number for the setup I use:
6168-0002
i also use a 1000 ml borosilicate flask with a #8 silicone stopper coupled with a harbor freight vacuum
pump.
Hope that helps.

Plastic bottle top filters simply don’t work for our purposes. Full stop. The first time you brew purple Tren because the blue plastic leeched into the solution, you’ll never use them again. I bought a case and tossed 8 of them once I figured that out. Just because your batch doesn’t turn blue doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t pinning plastic anyway.
All glass is the way to go for small batches but even at 300ml, using capsule filters and a peristaltic pump only increases your consumables cost by $2/vial. Negligible for the peace of mind.
Vacuum is too slow and there are too many variables in where you can introduce pathogens, IMO.

interesting! Can/will you suggest any particular capsule filters you recommend? And what style pump do you use (brand/part #)? I’m humble enough to admit that may filtration techniques could always improve.

These are inexpensive and very useful. Can be used for filling large quantities of bottles too. Contact them directly for great prices. Order with #17 tubing. You can autoclave the tubing for filling purposes, post sterile.
Intelligent Peristaltic Dosing Pump-Peristaltic pump/price,Small/peristaltic pump,Dispensing/peristaltic pump- Baoding Chuangrui Precision Pump Co., Ltd.
I use Whatman Polycap 36 AS with filling bell. They have nylon membranes and can filter up to 10 liters iirc. Don't buy them from the places that pop up on a search. I dug around and pay about $54/each.
I run 50ml/min so it goes pretty fast. You can probably do it faster but I prefer to not push the envelope.
You filter directly into sterile media bottles. That clean oil can sit forever sans risk of contamination. Sometimes when I am experimenting with new blends or recipes, I let the finished product sit in the bottles for weeks to ensure it won't crash.

And you’ve had no issue with the plastic housing being polypropylene?

Peristaltic pump setup is overkill. You can only use that expensive filter once. As long as you don't use EO the plastic bottle top filters are the best choice. I think most guys here use autofil.
