      Home brew test e

So I attempted my first home brew and honestly thought everything went very well. My test looked very clean when complete. I decided to give it a try and believe I got an infection. My question is about the test. Can it be saved or is it garbage?

Although it most likely wasn’t the test that gave you the infection, I would say that entire vial has to be thrown out. What are you using to sterilize, what types of filters are you using, and how long and how high did you heat?

How much did you make? An option you have is to filter it again and put them in new bottles. Can you describe your brew process?

So many variables with an infection without knowing how you brewed (vials, filters, solvents). What makes you think you have an infection? Is it obvious with a big lump, raised fever, puss?

4th cycle and never had pain like this from an injection. Hard around injection site. Redness around the injection site about the size of a playing card

Carbolic acid. I have a post here somewhere on how to get rid of it.

We’ve got the problem identified. Syringe filter blew out during the filtering process.
