      Mct vs gso

Not new to brewing but I haven't in ages. About to start up again though. Gso was the norm and I've had great results with it. I've noticed a lot of sponsors using mct oil though. What are the advantages of mct? Longer shelf life? Is it thinner so easier to pin?

I'm also curious on the oils. I've been told from a friend that his cook used a blend of oils which I'm really wondering what it was because it pinned very well.

MCT is amazing! Super low viscosity and looks almost as thin as water when you toss it around in a bottle. I read some people have adverse reactions to it but I personally haven’t heard of any. You can easily draw it into insulin syringes.
Add the fact that your body “isn’t likely” to store it as body fat and that makes it even better.
Shelf life? I am a believer in only buying and opening what you need for a particular batch/run. If you buy a liter and only use half of it, use the rest to cook with and buy a new one next brew.
I still use GSO for simple testosterones. Even as cheap as that is, I open a new jug every production run. Additionally, I keep all oils that have been opened in the refrigerator. Once opened, oxidation will begin. The cold slows it. I don’t want products going rancid if a guy decides to pin my gear for a couple of years after storage.

GSO is the way to go imo.

After using cottonseed oil for years I switched over to GSO, which I used for many years. MCT is my fav for the past few years and it will be hard to get me to change.

MCT is thinner than GSO. I've been reading about people pinning with slin pins with no issues at all.

Both GSO and MCT I like both of them.
