Anastrozole/arimidex suspension - what is yall’s method?
What are you guys doing to suspend anastrozole? Are you using Ora-Plus, PEG, or something else?
Do you just grind the raw compound with mortar and pestle then add to your volume of needed Ora-Plus or will anastrozole not suspend in Ora-Plus?
Ive done aramosin many times, just never done arimidex.
Any input would greatly appreciated.
If you’re wondering how I make my aramosin, here ya go. With aramosin I simply grind 0.21g of the compound then add to my vial that contains 10ml of Ora-plus then I shake in my jig-saw/clamp device then I add the remaining needed volume of distilled water (roughly 4ml). I then shake again and done. 12.5mg/ml in a 15ml volume of solution. 0.21g is slightly 10% overdosed since the manufacturer of Ora-Plus suggests overdosing by 10%.

I just use 1mg/ml of adex raw with 50/50 OraPlus/distilled water. An immersion blender mixes everything well enough in larger batches. If I was doing 500ml or less I use a homogenizer.
Having said this, my next run I am going to try PEG400 and ethanol for all AIs. The OraPlus is killing my budget. Even Humco Flavor Plus is $100 usd/gallon.

Just last week I made letrozole in PEG400 and ethanol. It tastes so bad that I made everything else in Humco. Screw it! It may cost more but the difference in palatability is worth the expense.
