Using sterile, empty vials, once you pierce the stopper, you have inoculated the sterile vial with contaminants. Just like once you pull a sterile syringe out of its package, it is no longer sterile. Splitting hairs I know, but you can fit millions of pathogens between a split hair.

The bottom line (poor old dead horse) is that without a laminar flow hood, much of the efforts at sterility are in vain.
You are correct sir but since I dont have laminar flow hood the odds of me getting contaminations in a unsealed vile are much greater then if I use a sterile pre sealed vile. Maybe some day I will be able to buy one but since I only brew for my personal use it's not cost effective right now. I know it's a gamble but life in general is a gamble
