Digital scale
Can someone recommend a good digital scale
I have this one
Jewel Watches LCD Display Precision Digital Gram Jewelry Scale 2 g x .1g 6 3 97522563 | eBay
And it works fine over 5g, I bought some certified calibration weights to verify accuracy, but it sucks under 5g.
I'm looking for one that is accurate down to at least 0.5g
There are so many choices that claim there accurate down to .1g, but has anyone bought one that they know first hand is accurate
If so please post a link I would really appreciate it
Thanks

The best way I was able to find a decent one that at least comes relatively close to measuring in the 10 mg range without seeing me financially was to pour over all the available amazon scanners and then read a large portion of the reviews.

Get one with 0.01g accuracy. Cheap chinese scales are hit or miss. I've had some that were great and some that weren't that great. But they've always done the job. It also depends on what you're gonna measure.

I have mentioned this before many times. Be diligent in your search and you’ll find a gem for a great price.
I have a Mettler-Toledo AE240 I got on eBay for $152usd. I have seen similar deals often there.
A used model like mine from a lab shop is in the $1500 range. Newer models that are similar are $4k or more.
It has a high range of 200grams so it isn’t much use for me any longer but I will never part with it because the replacement value is astronomical.
Same with my homogenizer. The components were around $5k last I checked for new (if I read it right), I paid around $100usd for mine on eBay.
I want to start a thread/series on how to set up a pro level shop at home but need to set time aside for it. Hopefully I can do so in the near future. Should answer a ton of these questions.

I think a Toledo is over kill in his situation.
Here, op. This is a trued and true accurate scale. I've used these fir decades, things that need 0.1 accuracy to things weighed in 112g amounts.
I even use one as a kitchen scale.

But if you can buy one at these prices, why not?

I think I might try this scale
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0012...OF50QDY2&psc=1
I watched a few videos on YouTube about it and it seems to be the best bet unless I want to spend several hundred dollars
