How to build a syringe press

I built a new syringe filter press out of wood it works even better then the original stainless steel one I built
I posted step by step directions here https://brotherhoodofpain.com/anabol...nge-press.html if anyone is interested in building one.
It costs under $20 and took less then 2 hours to build it

Again, you should be venting with asyringe filter. Even the cheap, non sterile eBay ones would be an improvement over open to the atmosphere.

Filter material shouldn't matter because only air should be passing through correct?

A pvc pipe that fits over plunger thumb contact, secured to wooden 3×1 backing using pvc fastener,...
Inside pvc pipe, insert slightly longer wood dowel or preferred metal rod with threads that can accept flange, extending through pvc pipe to make contact with flat thumb part of plunger.
On top of flange, place weight.

Yes. You can even use larger sized but if you can get .22, why not?
I would pierce with venting needle with filter attached first, then your syringe.

Yes I'm ordering 13mm .22 just wondering if it needed to be pvdf of if it's ok to use pes or nylon cause the pes and nylon are almost half the price of the pvdf.
