First time questions
Hi there, Ive been reading and taking notes of everything useful since i first joined BOP then i decided to order and try my first batch, but some questions came up:
1-Does the syringe filter have to be PVDF or could be PES membrane?
2-for how long should i heat the mix (powder,bb,ba,oil) in an oven (100ºC)?
3-What temperature should i wait for the mix to be to start filtering?
4-should i let it sit for 1-2 days to see if it crashes?
Im cooking TE btw
tyvm

Brother not to jump your shit too bad but everyone of those questions has been answered a dozen times. Just spend a week reading every post in the homebrew forum, then if you have questions ask 1 at a time, but based on some of your questions your not even close to being ready to brew yet. I don't claim to know everything but all the questions your asking are basic questions. I researched for a month before I even started buying equipment and raws

PVDF
2-for how long should i heat the mix (powder,bb,ba,oil) in an oven (100ºC)?
No

Test e has a low melting point so you shouldn't have to heat it.
4-should i let it sit for 1-2 days to see if it crashes?
Yes, if you're doing some crazy recipe. Test e doesn't crash if you don't do anything crazy.

Its hard to find PVDF filters even online where i live, but i will do my best.
Im going for a simple recipe just do be sure:
200mg/ml
2%ba
18%bb
GSO
After 2-3 batches im going to reduce bb progressively until about 10%. The temperature range here is from 53ºF to 100ºF, so it will hold easily, right?

You can easily go to 250mg/ml (the standard test e strength) with 10% BB. No reason for your body to have to process more solvent than necessary.
What country do you live in? Even in Mexico I have found places to buy just about everything.

Im from Brazil, but I already found where to buy from, tyvm.
I can see that you are very experienced in this @Enigma, so what do you think about not heating TE? Just mixing everything and letting it sit for a day as @THX said above

I would still heat it personally but I have heated stir plates. If I had to get in a Bain Marie, I might skip it with test e. If you can get it to go into solution near room temperature, why not? I think if you get it to go into solution, you won’t ever have a problem with it crashing.

I will probably just heat to 200-212 for hygiene purposes just to be safe (even if everything mixes up without it). If i go for the Bain Marie method i couldnt stir while its heating because of the steam or is there a method to use to do that? It would be better to heat anyway to be easier to filter
