      Cool Syringe Filter Question

Last night I started brewing a patch of 100ml Deca using .2um OVDF filter 25mm and left the last 20ml loaded in the syringe with the filter attached, covered the pin, and out it in my drawer. Thumbs were killing me and I had work early in the morning. Today when I continued the flow rate was considerably faster or it felt that way.

      So, 2 questions:

      • Is it ok to leave the syringe and filter over night and use it again the next day or would a new filter be required?
      • I recall up to 100ml can be used before having to switch filters but not certain of it. Is that accurate?

Do you mean PVDF? Idk bro as for your first question I would probably just switch to a new filter, especially if you included BA in your brew. Why risk letting anything through? Some of the filter specs I've seen indicate limited resistance to BA.

Yes, I dont know why I had two type's with the letter "p", was typing fast. I just hadn't thought of using a new filter but when it was faster thought i'd ask or if it was just in my head. I ended up refiltering the whole 30ml vial to be safe. Didn't have BA.
