Test C Crashed
Never had an issue with test e but just had some test c crash. Had it at 2% BA and 20% BB with GSO. After I heat it back up what's the chance it might hold this time? Would it be better to filter it again?

Sometimes it will but, 90% of the time, after cooling back to room temp(a couple hours) it goes back. From my experience, I just mark it up to failure. But with failure comes success.

What's the solution? Add more BB?

Just wanted to give an update for those who care. Heated it up to about 140F and got it to bind again. Then stuck in the fridge and then freezer and got it down to 25F. So far it's been holding so I think all is good. Fingers crossed lol

Aaaaaand I spoke too soon, started to crash after some time. Decided to make the solution 22% BB. Going to see if this will work.

I would wait until more brewers can chime in before preceding.

Were you trying to hold 250mg/mL with the test C? You may need to bump the BB up a bit, maybe 24% or so to get 250 to hold. 200mg/mL would hold perfectly fine with 2/20.

Yep tried to get 250mg to hold with 2/20 in GSO. Just bumped it up to 22 % BB. Will see if it holds. Thanks for the input everyone.

Why are you cooling it? I think that might be your problem.

Don’t freeze it that’s why it’s crashing. It’s best to keep it room temp or even warm
