Some people are allergic to it. It also slowly dissolves plastic and rubber stoppers. It has an analgesic effect on the area that you're injecting it. If it's good or bad I really don't know. I always think of it as a bad thing. So you have to consider those things versus the higher concentrated gear so it's all personal preference. If you like it and it works for you, keep doing it. As a beginner, I never recommend it since there are more things that could go wrong.
It’s simple but not easy is how the saying goes. Consider the implications of making something at home then injecting it into your body. I did it for years for personal use but still had/used decent and proper equipment. Now that others use our stuff, I wouldn’t even consider brewing without using a pro shop.
I can pack a parachute. Seen it done 100 times. But I wouldn’t consider jumping that ‘chute. No fucking way!
While it's probably best if you have a pro setup, you certainly dont need one. There are plenty of implications to consider when using UGL products as well. For me, I trust myself much more than I do UGLs and I save money going this route. It's a no brainer, not to mention it's fun.
