Filter membrane question/Need some experienced brewers advice

Hello everyone, I had a two part question.
First let me explain what setup I am using and what I intend on brewing.

I use a 90mm porcelain Bunchner funnel and a glass filtering flask with a hand pump.
I brew the basic stuff only, like test e and c, mast e, tren a/e, npp and deca, using MCT, and so I primarily use BA/BB only, solvent wise, aside from when I brew higher doses of Test cyp, than I’ll use some EO. Filter wise, I have only ever used “Superhydrophobic” PVDF but I am currently having a problem procuring them (more on that later).

With that said I am looking for some advice and opinions/personal experience with alternative membranes like Nylon, Cellulose Nitrate, PTFE, MCE, PES, regular hydrophobic PVDF etc...I am looking for the best of both worlds when it comes to speed of filtering and longevity of filters. I was able to do roughly 600-800 ml’s in 25-35 minutes, with one of those filters before it started to clog.

What would you guys recommend that would come close to that?

My second question is, does anyone have or know of a manufacturer or supplier who carries the superhydrophobic PVDF’s?
If you don’t know what I am talking about when I say superhydrophobic, the superhydrophobic ones have a rough and smooth side, and on the smooth side it has some sort of laminate coating or film material (siloxane?) over the smooth side of the filter, making it even harder. This is what makes it more hydrophobic, aka superhydrophobic. You could also describe it as it almost looks like it has been sprayed with hairspray. That’s the best way I know how to visually explain the differences between regular hydrophobic PVDF and superhydrophobic.

      Thank you in advance

      Thank you!

The end of this pdf doc gives some good info on membrane characteristics, plus a chart indicating chemical resistance and other properties:

It's a good reference. I've only ever used PVDF (and never reused filters) so maybe other brothers can comment on some of the other membranes you mention...

Check out GBZ Medical. They have some filtration stuff on there. They are in florida. I have been with them 5years now and they are great. Good luck to you Sir.

Thank you. Do you use the regular hydrophobic PVDF, and if so how many ml’s can you filter with one membrane?

Highest I'll go is 350mg/ml sust and I use 50/50 EO/MCT. ZapCaps always do me good. Occasionally I'll have to change them out mid cook at about 500ml or so, but for the most part I can make 1000ml batch with one filter.
Roughly how long does it take you to filter let’s say 500ml with a PTFE?

      Thanks

Where do you get these? I can only find the 0.45um ones.

Really? I googled, "zapcap cr 0.2" and plenty of places popped up at the top of the page.
