I’ve already ordered the syringe filters. I have heard that they are a pain because they are slow. But I’m willing to deal with that. But why do you say to save myself the wasted gear? I don’t want any of my gear wasted. Are they just breaking and the gear goes spraying everywhere?

I’ve heard stories about the plastic filters blowing up but it hasn’t happened to me yet. I guess when it does, I’ll go get glass

I've never had a problem with the whatman syringe filters and can filter over 100ml per filter unless it contains guaiacol then I get about 50ml before the guaiacol starts to break down the filter

Not a pain in the ass at all if you build yourself a syringe filter press like I did. it does all the work for you

I use autofil system. It’s super easy now that I use a thinner oil and a lot less BB

Autofil is the jam. The SS ones are even better. Haven’t tried anything with EO or Guaiacol through them yet but I have some PVDF for that if needed.
Funny, but I’ve never used a syringe filter but only to add some BB to some crashed cyp. 1000% worth the money to get a hand pump, glass media bottles, and some bottle top filters. The time savings alone is worth it.
YN, looking at the solvent prices from the link you posted, medlab is much cheaper. Just FYI. I think you had some issues with them in the past though if I recall correctly.

I didn’t like their shipping prices, for the service I was getting. But I bought a gallon of mig-840 for 140, and I’m jacked about getting my raws soon.
I now have syringe filters, won’t need a hand pump for 30 ml.
