The first time brew shouldn’t be a problem as long as you do your homework and you make sure you have everything you could possibly need. I think some try to overreach in the beginning try complicated brews that they have no place trying to make . OP did it perfectly test e first brew nothing more basic and easy . Very wise choice

I agree with this completely. Brewing is not difficult as long as you do your homework and have all your supplies in stock and ready to go. Also always have extra supplies you never know when something will fail and you need more such as a filter breaking

Like the filter I had yesterday that blew a one inch hole thru the middle of it, 5 seconds after I turned on the pump.
