Make your own flow hood bro. I'm sure it can be done for quite cheap

I’ve looked into it. A lot of the mushroom cultivation crowd have made some pretty good DIY videos on it.

I'm not sure how handy you are, but if you get yourself a little 120v mig welder you can build your own flow hood AND you can build all sorts of accessories for your home gym. I built myself a 4x4x7 power rack and next up is a fid bench and dip bar. I have experience welding, but it's easy enough to learn for small projects.

Im pretty handy as I’m a contractor but I’ve never welded. I’ve also never home brewed but I figured that out. I’ll be on eBay looking this up tonight for sure.

You’ve got about 18 inches from the burner all the way around it.

Since I come from a clean room in ironing I would say to really know you have done a quality job and can guarantee you are bacteria free use a laminar flow hood. Do all your work with open vials and beakers in front of it and you can sleep easy at night.

Flow hoods for the size you would need are like 500-750 you don’t need a huge one.

That is what I do for work. Liquid culture organic mushroom spores. I use flow hoods all the time.
