Hmm that's odd since the vial was sterile from a reputable company! I also note that some of the other vials also went "cloudy" - but went to normal colour when I heated it.
I even transferred some of the contents to a new vial, and used a filter, same colour (went to normal when I heated it though).

More then likely you only used 1 small wheel filter and didn't pre filter so .45 then .22 so it would of been clogged and pushed around the sides try put a new filter on and give it another go should clear up.. as GSO is so thick best to per filter. Let me know how it turns out

You're correct! I didn't pre-filter I just went straight to a .22 (while the oil was warm) - does this mean it's "contaminated" (I note that I even filtered one of the vials again with a new .22 and although the colour was fine when heated, it returned back to that colour (only some vials though ...))

Depending on what membrane your filter had brother as the heat and solvents can cause degradation very quickly in some filters here is the most common ones.

Ok brother its your filter for sure you are using a filter for Narcotics not solvent based organics.
Here is the 2 types of filter I use as they have a big PH range and are designed for organics you will find they flow better as the membrane is not Nylon.
Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF):*designed for high tensile strength, high solvent resistance, and low protein binding, making them suitable for biomedical filtration, sterilization filtration, and HPLC sample preparation. pH range ~1-14.PTFE:*is perfect for the filtration of gaseous or organic solvent-based samples and highly corrosive substances. Hydrophobic so provides chemical resistance to aggressive media and excellent temperature stability allowing an extended sampling range. If used with aqueous samples, the membrane usually requires pre-wetting (normally by using a small amount of alcohol). Can also be used to prevent moisture passing through air vents. pH range ~1-14.

Give one of them ago and it will clear up 100%
Thanks brother, I appreciate it!
Do you still think the gear is GTG to inject as is? (Although I anticipate using the above method!)
