Sciatic nerve injury from IM injection

I have no idea why i can't raise my right leg more than an inch without shooting stabbing pain from the inside of my thigh all the way up to my hip.

All I can think of is that I nicked the nerve on my last glute injection, after researching apparently it's quite common but I haven't had it happen in 15yrs of glute Injections. It super sucks, literally can't walk up my own stairs.

Has this happened to anyone before? I'm taking NSAI and not working out for the time being (which fucking blows but I'm also sick so I think it's for the best)

How long did it take you to recover and how did you expedite this process?

      Thanks guys

You know this may be an excess pool of oil is pushing up against the nerve.
You have to be pinning all the way to the back side of your glute to hit the nerve. I've had similar Payne in my lower back and I can say that deep tissue massage stretching and rotating awsy from this site, and giving it a break is the way to go.

I did not know that about the excess oil. And I am quite confused about how that nerve would be nicked because of where I pin in the upper right quadrant. But I have no reason to believe it's a pulled hamstring (I've done that before and it feels nothing like this).

So stretch hamstring, deep tissue the pain site, give right glute a break from injection. I'm also doing cold hot therapy.

What do you think the recovery time is looking like? I Know you're no doctor so I'll ask, how long did it take your back to recover?

It took a solid month of not pinning at the site before I felt better. I used my foam rollers and a couple of balls for specific pinpoint spots, but I also go to a tier 2 massage therapist once a week. But, I honestly think not pinning in that spot was the most crucial aspect of recovery.

Fuck man. I hate quad injections which is what I'll have to switch to because I don't think it's a good idea to just do left butt cheek for a month considering this happened.

Did you not work back for that time as well? Really don't want to stop training legs when. About to start deca, dbol. Also would muscle relaxers help you think? Doc could hook me up with that.

I have a tier 4 wife so she'll get deep in there for me

Stop working out??? Lol....HELL NO!! But that's because Bodybuilders are a bit nuts!!...lol
Of course my injury was a bit different than yours but I think it's still the siatic nerve that's the root cause. And if you ask me strictly from experience, I would not pin my quads if I were you, that's a whole nother can of worms to open up right there.

I pin a bunch in shoulders with 5/8 inch 27g slin(1cc) Dont even feel it. I have used Test C, Sust, NPP, Deca,Tren A and E with application time under 60 seconds for all 1 cc injections. I have yet to run into any oils that I personally use that won't go through a 27g.

Nice. I definitely want to try this with Tren Ace.

Well, did test deca 1 1/2 ml threw a 25g 1.5in because that's all I have right now in the delt. Wasn't too bad. Had trouble pressing down, it kept pushing back against me. It took probably around a minute to get it all in. Also only wanted to go in an inch but found out it's hard when you're by yourself and don't have the proper length. Got a dead arm, no oil leakage. Fuck it, I guess I can do this for 7 more injections
