      Scoliosis with intense training

Hey everyone, so I’ve been training for over 10 years, been a personal trainer for almost one year. It gets tricky trying to find certain ways to do extensive back workouts with my back. It has always been an issue,
for the most part I’ve worked w a physical therapist to find ways we can change my form to benefit my body, it has gotten better over time but I’m curious to see if anyone here has scoliosis or a Herrington rod and how you go about training, thanks brotHers 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽😁😁

Hey man, I’ve got a 47% curve, mid thoracic spine region. My left upper rib actually is pushed forward a bit as well. no Harrington rod thankfully.

All In all, I had pain when I was younger and growing but these days I don’t have any issues. I feel lucky with this.

what specific movements give you pain? Is it more hinging movements?
I’ve been a coach for 12 years and have had to work around numerous issues with athletes, so I may be able to help here.

can you give me more info on your scoliosis and what movements bother you etc?
