Hey guys, been a minute since I've been on the forums due to hip replacement and multiple back surgeries.

Curious if any of the older guys here have a fused spine and how long was it before the pain stopped?
It's been two years since my back fusion and even though it did help get rid of the sciatic pain going down my leg, my lower back still hurts like a bitch not to mention if I stay in any position to long it takes me forever to get moving again. Everything just seems to lock up.

I'm thankful I can at least walk again without a cane but training has been off and on due to the pain the past few years. I've totally changed my training to focus more on mobility and movement patterns since being in my 50s and being as big as possible is no longer the goal but nothing seems to help. Getting tired of being fucked up on norcos all day and wanting to get back to training regularly again but I just can't seem to get over the hump.

Any of you older guys gone or going through this and if so, what did you do that helped with the pain? Any tips, ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Totally miss training and feeling like shit physically and mentally.
