Has anyone gone through getting your tendons grafted in with this procedure where they use a cadaver's tendon (achilles heel). There's a video on youtube that's pretty gruesome to watch, but they replaced this 62 year old guy's bicep tendon using this technique.

He made it out like if you tensed up - it would break / tear, but watching this video again and seeing how tough those doctors are suturing and pulling on that, I can't see it failing easily.

A buddy of mine got some cadaver tendon on his knee in one spot and has never had a problem with it. Just curious if anyone here has had this procedure done or knows anyone. Doctors just have this, ah , you don't need it attitude.. but I'm like, it's my dominant arm, I work on my house all the time, my car, I love lifting, and what, I gotta deal with cramping and pain for the rest of my life possibly? Treat yourselves well, brothers.. getting injured like this isn't the end of the world, but sure does suck like hell!
